2 Weight Loss Plateau Mistakes, You Should Avoid

If you're not losing weight, most probably you're making these two mistakes, but don't worry.

Because in this blog post, you can find what those two mistakes are and correct them.

"2 Mistakes" is the title of this blog, but you don't need to worry because I used to make these two mistakes.

Mistakes are okay.

If you're making them today, it's okay, but if you do it tomorrow, it's no longer a mistake; it's a habit.

You don't want mistakes to turn into a habit.

So that's why I am going to share with you what those two mistakes are.

If you avoid these two mistakes, I promise you're going to solve the weight loss issues and plateaus you are experiencing.

The first mistake is quite common.

Mistake #1

First, I will explain where this mistake came from.

You may know my background; I'm from a traditional Christian family.

(This is not a religious post, but I have to tell you my story to find out the root.)

My parents, especially my mother, told me to go to church every Sunday, pray every day, etc.

My mother was very passionate about religion, so I literally followed this tradition for many years.

If you go and ask my mother what to do to lose weight, she will tell you to pray.

If I go and ask, "Mother, I'm experiencing a weight loss plateau, what should I do?"

She may say, "God is very powerful, so pray, and you'll lose."

From a very young age, if I wanted something, the first thing I did was pray.

When it comes to weight loss, I did the same thing. I prayed to God.

"God, please give me six-pack abs." I prayed day and night.

Did I get any six-pack abs, or did I lose weight?

No! I didn't lose weight.

Do you want to know why my prayer didn't work?

My mother used to tell me to pray for everything, but where in the Bible does it say to pray?

​Matthew chapter 7 gave me the answer.

So, the #1 mistake I made was - if you want to lose weight, don't pray.

Matthew chapter 7 says, "Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you.

For everyone who asks receives, the one who seeks finds, and the one who knocks, the door will be opened." My door was not opening because I was not knocking; I was just praying.

I started losing weight, especially body fat, in 30 days after correcting mistake #1.

Many people make mistake #2, which is going to the gym, doing exercise, and hoping that weight loss will happen.

They continue this routine for years without seeing any results, yet they keep hoping that one day weight loss will occur.

This was the second mistake I was making.

Mistake #2: You need to change

If your weight loss strategy is not working, or if the exercise you're currently doing is not yielding results, then you need to change that.

Doing the same thing and expecting different results is insanity.

I was once caught in that cycle, but not anymore.

When I changed my mindset, I started losing weight. In fact, just 10 minutes of exercise began revealing the six-pack abs I had been dreaming of.

Wondering why I stopped doing hours of exercise in the gym and decided to do only 10 minutes of exercise?

It's based on a new weight loss theory.

Based on this theory, your goal is to make weight loss as easy as possible and very effective.

I am seeing very good results for my private clients after using this theory, so that's why I encourage people to read the theory especially if you're struggling with weight loss.

A friend who followed my diet theory (you can read about it in my book) went from high cholesterol to normal cholesterol within 15 days.
